On May 31st volunteers from the NSSA and general public joined together to clean up both the river banks and roadway adjacent to the McIntyre River from Con College to Lakehead Univeresity. The crew was pleasantly surprised by the decrease in materials collected since the last clean up campaign in 2023. It would appear that more anglers are making the effort to spend time to make the area cleaner. Peer pressure goes a long ways. Thanks to all those who attended.
